By Where the Old Shed Used to Be is a radio play by Craig Warner. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 12 December 1989, and won a Giles Cooper Award that same year[1].

A dark, modern retelling of Cinderella.

Directed by Andy Jordan

Critical ReceptionEdit

“... a brutal, and occasionally heartless version of the Cinderella story.. and Andy Jordan’s production serves it nicely”. (Robert Hanks, The Independent)

"...has been memorably described as like a cross between Under Milk Wood and Fassbender."[2]
