Dan Rebellato is a British playwright who has written extensively for BBC Radio 3 and 4. His original plays include Erskine May, Emily Rising, Cavalry, My Life Is a Series of People Saying Goodbye and the trilogy - Here, There, and Somewhere - that make up Negative Signs of Progress. He has also written adaptations of John Wyndham's The Midwich Cuckoos, Douglas Coupland's Girlfriend in a Coma, Nikolai Gogol's Dead Souls and he has contributed to the adaptation of Emile Zola's Rougon Macquart novels.

His plays have twice been nominated for Sony Awards.
