Electricity is a two-part radio play by John Peacock, based on the novel of the same name by Victoria Glendinning. Part One was first broadcast on BBC Radio on 25 August 1997, with the second part broadcast on 01 September 1997[1].

Plot[]

Set in 1880. Charlotte Mortimer escapes her oppressive family home by marrying Peter Fisher, prophet of the new science of electricity, and sets out on a spirited journey of connections, contacts and shocks.
