Flos is a radio play by David Pownall, and arose in connection to the writing of his stage play King John's Jewel and in the research for Pownall's novel The White Cutter[1]. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 10 October 1982, and was nominated for the Prix Italia in 1983. The running time is 120 minutes[2][3].


Set in 1216. A stonemason urgently needs to collect his debts from the ailing King John.
