The Richard Imison Memorial Award is a British radio drama prize. It is given to writers new to British radio drama for work original to the medium. Named in honor of influential BBC producer and script editor Richard Imison, the award is sponsored by the Peggy Ramsay Foundation and is judged by the Broadcasting Committee of the Society of Authors[1] It is administered jointly by the Society of Authors and the Writers Guild of Great Britain, along with the Tinniswood Award.

As of 2012, the award will be synchronized and awarded with the BBC Audio Drama Awards.
