Critical ReceptionEdit

"Poetic, ambitious, highly wrought and densely woven ... the experience is one of those that gives drama on radio such power. The value of art which aims high is immense. The continuous artistic scrutiny of that tradition, in a world which deafens itself with chat and drowns in sentiment, has never been of greater value." (Gillian Reynolds, The Daily Telegraph)[3]
