The Governor's Consort is a radio play by Peter Tinniswood, specially written for actress Mary Wimbush. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 17 May 1993, as an installment of the Monday Play[1].


Lady Edith accompanies her husband on a boat ride to a south Atlantic island. The journey changes her life[2].
