The Happy Haven is a radio play by John Arden and Margaretta D'Arcy, adapted from their stage play by Walter Hall. Written during Arden's fellowship at Bristol University, it was the first collaboration with his wife[1]. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio in 1975, on the BBC World Service[2].


A scientist, conducting experiments in a home for seniors, creates a rejuvenating elixir.
