Night of the New Moon is a radio play adapted from the Laurens van der Post memoir by Peter Bevan, and dramatized for radio by Brian Sibley. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1988. The running time is 60 minutes[1][2]


van der Post's experiences in a Japanese POW camp during World War Two, juxtaposed with the dropping of the atomic bomb and the Japanese surrender.
