Who is Sylvia? is a radio play by Stephen Dunstone. It was first broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 29 April 1984. The running time is 75 minues 37 seconds. It won a Giles Cooper Award in 1984, and jointly won the Radio Times playwriting competition in 1983.
Two scientists work in a laboratory, studying cockroaches.
It works on two levels - we hear the scientists and their mindless chatter; then there's a subtle change in the sound quality, and we are with the insects. They are aware of the horrible things which are being done to them, but can't understand why they are happening.
